Certifire Scheme

Paling Joiners joined the BWF-CERTIFIRE scheme in 2003.

All participating members of the BWF-CERTIFIRE Fire Door and Doorset Scheme are rigorously assessed and audited, providing specifiers with the added security and confidence in the products being selected. Being a part of the scheme enables Paling Joiners to  supply a range of 3rd party certificated products to ensure that all involved in the specification, installation, inspection and use of fire doors are confident that BWF-CERTIFIRE Scheme products are fit for purpose. A fire door is a vital safety device engineered to save lives and property. This service is an excellent facility for schools etc. where a door must be back in position prior to being populated, ensuring fire integrity of the building.

Piece of Mind

If a door is modified in any way by a non-member, the door will be  deemed un-certified and not fit for purpose. This is classed as interfering with the integrity. Paling Joiners follow strict test evidence and procedures allowing the modification of a certified door blank, and retaining its certification. Having an approved, certified door or door set assures piece of mind.
